Our most recent project success involved a large recoating project for a major Pipeline Operator. We recently completed the exterior recoating and interior lining of several fuel storage tanks throughout the Southeast US. Our scope of work including High Pressure Water Jetting in accordance with SSPC-SP12 for exterior surfaces and Abrasive Blast Cleaning interior surfaces to SSPC-SP5 blast cleanliness in preparation for linings work. DACA completed the 1st Phase of maintenance efforts to recoat and reline numerous tanks over the course of several years.

We worked closely with the Operator to identify creative and cost effective methods to address the corrosion challenges they were faced with. The introduction of new technology and innovative techniques paved the road to a positive net benefit return for the Operator with reduced down time versus conventional methods and rapid return to service. We introduced high pressure water jetting to minimize the environmental impact yet maintaining a high degree of cleanliness for the exterior scope including the application of a 100% solid Polymeric Amine Epoxy. We also applied a rapid cure plural component flake-glass filled novolac epoxy to the interior of the tanks to achieve near immediate Return to Service.

We implemented our ISO 9001:2000 compliant Quality Assurance Program during each process which inevitably resulted in First Time Quality with zero non-conformances or defects. Our staff of NACE Certified Inspectors and Quality Engineers monitored the project for conformance and customer satisfaction.

We currently are working closely with the Operator on three other coatings projects within their fleet focusing in on maximum efficiency and quality service. We are equipped to perform our work under a Fixed Price Arrangement or Master Services Agreement. Both have proven advantageous for both parties.
